A wise choice for both highballs and straight pours, this product, with a minimum malt whisky content of 40%, has a delicate roundness with a rich backbone of malt whisky, offering cereal notes and a gentle sweetness. Aged for up to 12 years and created through a two-stage blending process, it is never coloured or unchill-filtered.

Named after the oldest stone lighthouse in Japan, Hatozaki blended whisky is blended by Kaikyo distillery. Matured in a variety of casks, including sherry, bourbon and Mizunara oak it has a complex character, with notes of cherry blossom, pears and caramel throughout the palate.
Nose: Light, sweet malty aromas alongside more cereal notes and fragrant lemongrass. Fruity notes of nectarine and banana appear.
Palate: Grain sweetness, a touch of honey and barrel char, with more stone fruit and orange blossom.
Finish: An oily nuttiness appears on the finish alongside more cereal notes.
