The Cà dei Frati I Frati Lugana DOC is presented in a sunny straw yellow with greenish reflections. Its bouquetis expressive, multi-faceted, complex, powerful, intense, concentrated, fruity, summery-fresh, fragrant, delicate, finely drawn, clean and elegant. Look forward to green and yellow apple, pear, quince, peach, apricot, mirabelle plum, green-yellow reindeer, lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, honeydew melon, candied citrus fruit, honey, meadow flowers, almond blossom, rose blossom, mint, lemongrass, nettle, Mediterranean Herbs, nuts, sweet almonds, moist lime and flint. While the young Lugana delights with delicate floral, fruity, balsamic hints and notes of almonds, the more mature one convinces with complexity, minerality, spice, a fine note of iodine and candied fruit.
