This wine is made from grapes harvested in different vineyards in the hills of Valpolcella (Hills and Mezzane Tregnago). The different origins of different grape varieties is important in order to obtain well-balanced wine with good structure that only a few individual areas of Valpolicella can give.

The Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2014 comes from the single terraced vineyard of Monte Sant'Urbano, which is owned by the Speri family. As the name suggests, this is located on the top of a small mountain, which, like a tongue of land, protrudes into the plain of Fumane, about 10 km northwest of Verona.
