Ch. Pape Clément has one of the best terroirs in Bordeaux and the capacity to produce phenomenal wines. The style of the wine is definitely moving towards a more elegant and refined one. This vintage is a perfect example of where this property is thriving to achieve now and for the long term. Lots of dark cherries fruits on the nose, good concentration, lots of layer of sweet black fruits on the palate, very focussed, complex and balanced finish.
