Chateau PAVIE MACQUIN, Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classe 2016, 1.5l

This wine is a deep purple in color with a pronounced intensity of aroma. The nose is composed of wet stone, ripe plum, cotton candy, cassis, freshly turned earth, over-ripe blueberries, clove, almonds, and paper. The wine is developing. The palate is composed of ripe blueberries, ripe strawberries, almonds, fresh herbs, portabella mushrooms, flint, and coconut. The wine is dry with med acidity, alcohol,  tannins, full body, and a long finish. This is an outstanding wine.
