In the local dialect of Sicily, “Burdese” means from Bordeaux. In this sense, the Planeta Burdese Cabernet Sauvignon Sicilia is dedicated to the great influence that French viticulture also has on the Sicilian art of viticulture. The bouquet of this outstanding blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and about a third of Cabernet Franc smells of sour cherries, blueberries and plums. Over time, noticeable hints of leather, cocoa, tobacco and roasted aromas. On the palate with a supporting tannin structure, great balance and a remarkable density.
